1st Annual Shenendehowa Football Community Service Day

The Shen Varsity and JV have an opportunity to participate in a great community service event by assisting the Shenendehowa Helping Hands Food Pantry unload and sort food from the local Boy Scout's food drive. The event will be on November 15th. Don Ferguson and Jean Strohmayer will present this opportunity to the players at the end of their film review this Sunday. They should be prepared to sign up for a volunteer time slot at that time.

The players will be required to volunteer for a minimum of a 1 hour shift or more. Each shift will require 15 to 20 players. This is a chance for the players to give back to our community. Please take advantage of this opportunity!

The Helping Hands Food Pantry is located at the Jonesville United Methodist Church at 963 Main Street, in Clifton Park, NY. The shift times are: 9:30 – 10:30am, 10:30 to 11:30am, 11:30 to 12:30am, and 12:30 to 1:30pm.

If your son can volunteer for this event please email Don Ferguson the shift or shifts he would like. Also, please have the players wear their home jersey or Shen apparel while they are volunteering. Please let me know of any questions. Best wishes.
